Most commercial grade fabrics carry NFPA 701-10 California Title 19, ASTM E2180, ASTM G21 Bacterial & Fungal Resistance and some carry various Acoustical Ratings for sound absorption. Natural Light Harvesting is an efficient way to utilize Green Building design, by collecting and utilizing natural light wherever available, reducing the need for energy consuming artificial light. Along with a wide range of fabric selections, we offer the latest technology in shade motors and integration for optimal Light Harvesting efficiency. With the increased use of multi-pane, high efficiency glass technology, the focus has shifted to the use of automated shades with carefully selected fabrics to manage the suns glare for occupant comfort while achieving maximum use of free, efficient light from the sun in an effort to achieve a minimal carbon footprint by reducing or eliminating the use of artificial lighting. Natural Light Harvesting Systems, and daytime lighting strategies used in conjunction with automated shades help create sustainable buildings, improving Green Building ratings, including LEED v4, WELL and the Living Building Challenge.


Manual Shades are clean in design, simple to operate, and easy on the budget. Our design eliminates unsightly chains and cords, and the need to screw a bracket to the window frame. Upper limits are preset for each window, so the shade returns to the same position every time. To operate, pull the shade down to the desired lower setting and release. To raise, gently tug on the hem bar and the shade automatically returns to the preset upper position. Motorized Shades are powered by Somfy, the largest and most innovative supplier of roller shade motors in the world. Flexible control and communication options from simple 1-way local control via RTS, to integration with whole home automation system via wireless 2-way Zigbee 3.0 or wired 485 protocol. A completely wire-free solution, offering a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery-powered motor with either Zigbee 3.0 or RTS wireless control. Low-voltage and line voltage motors can be controlled by either RTS or 485.
